"My goal in photographing sculptures is to make them look as if they are coming to life. In order to achieve this goal, the lighting is the most important aspect. During my process of photographing each sculpture, I research how the light is hitting the particular statue at what time of day. This is to ensure that there is the most contrast on the sculpture, this allows for more 3 dimensional form. To enhance it even further, the photos are processed and treated on Adobe Photoshop. There is a lot of dodging & burning on specified areas as well as pulling more contrast out of what was originally created."
